I built Henos Soccer Academy around one idea. Sessions stay hands on, the group stays small enough for me to coach every kid by name, and the training grows with your player year after year.
Real coaching experience
I have spent over ten years developing players, more than four of them running Henos Soccer Academy. I have seen what actually makes a kid better, and I build every session around it.
No age cap
Training starts at age 5 with no upper limit. Teens and adult players sharpening their game are just as welcome in Henos Soccer Academy as a first time five year old.
Boys and girls together
Henos Soccer Academy runs coed sessions focused on the same fundamentals for every player. Ball control, passing and game sense.
Group or 1 on 1
Train alongside other players in a group session, or book private one on one soccer training and work through focused individual reps with me.

Every player who steps on the field with me is going to get better, one rep at a time.
I have been coaching soccer for more than ten years, working with players of every age and skill level. Four years ago I took that experience and built Henos Soccer Academy from the ground up, with one goal. Give players in the DMV a place to train seriously and grow their love for the game.
My sessions cover the fundamentals everything else is built on. Ball control, first touch, passing and reading the game. Group session or private training, the approach is the same. Patient, detailed, and built around the player in front of me.
If English is not the easiest language for your family, we can talk it through in Amharic or Tigrinya. አማርኛ እና ትግርኛ እንናገራለን።

Youth group training, ages 5+
Coed sessions built around ball control, passing and small sided games. Players train together and build real game habits, not just drills.
Teen and advanced training
There is no upper age limit at Henos Soccer Academy. Teens and older players who want to sharpen technique and tactics train at a faster pace, still coached directly by me.
Private personal training
One on one sessions built entirely around your player, their position and what they need to work on. Call or text me to set up a private training schedule.

Soccer training questions parents ask
What ages do you train?

$150 a month per child. New members also pay a one time $100 registration fee along with the first month, for $250 total to start, then $150 each month after.
